DesignHammer Media Group has been selected by the Daily Tar Heel to develop an online application to collect data for the 11th Annual Carolina’s Finest Award Issue.
The system will be deployed in early January, and collect survey data through early March. Once completed, DTH staff will use the data to determine the winners in nearly fifty categories.
Founded in 1893, the DTH now boasts a circulation of 20,000, making it one of the largest college dailies in the country. The DTH is also one of the most decorated, winning numerous Associated Collegiate Press Pacemakers and SPJ Mark of Excellence awards. The paper’s website, Dailytarheel.com was originally published in 1994, and now regularly exceeds 750,000 page views a month.
