Three websites designed and developed by DesignHammer are finalists for 2014 Blue Drop Awards for achieving high quality using Drupal. The websites were deployed in 2013 and 2014 for the Carolina Theatre, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association and Raleigh Rescue Mission.
Now in its third year, the Blue Drop Awards “aims to publicly recognize the excellent individuals, companies and projects that have pushed the limits and maximized the capabilities of Drupal, the open source content management system.” Since its inception three years ago, the Blue Drop Awards has grown to 24 different nomination categories.
DesignHammer Partner David Minton is honored to be part of the Drupal awards event. “Whether we win or lose, most important is that Drupal provided us a solid platform to develop successful websites for our clients,” he said.
Drupal is a free open source software (FOSS) content management system (CMS) framework used for building scalable enterprise-level websites, and is the CMS of choice for prominent organizations in education, enterprise and government, such as Stanford University, the Economist, the White House and United States Congress.
The winners of the 2014 Blue Drop Awards will be announced at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 3rd in conjunction with DrupalCon Austin.
