DesignHammer Media Group, LLC today unveiled the official web site for the Sixth Annual North Carolina Jewish Film Festival (NCJFF 2004). The NCJFF returns to The Carolina Theatre with films from Israel and around the globe February 28–29.
2004 marks the sixth successful year of this highly acclaimed festival. The NCJFF serves to explore the diversity of Jewish life and culture and promote the discussion of relevant issues and concerns pertinent to the Jewish community. As many of the NCJFF’s films are produced without the support of a major studio, and are often made for a non-mainstream audience, they bring fresh interpretations of Jewish culture and identity.
This year’s festival has 14 exciting films, ten of which will make their North Carolina premiere at the festival. The majority of these thought-provoking films have earned recognition as official selections at other Jewish and International film festivals, providing audiences with an eclectic mix of critically acclaimed material sure to cultivate conversation and celebrate this rich culture.
The NCJFF presents an exciting opportunity to share Jewish culture with the non-Jewish community and to contribute a better understanding of Jewish culture and help destroy hurtful stereotypes. Tickets for the festival go on sale on February 9th, and can be purchased at The Carolina Theatre’s box office.
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to sponsor the NC Jewish Film Festival again this year,” said DesignHammer Managing Partner David Minton. DesignHammer has developed the official web site for the NCJFF since 2002.
